Use the correct instructions
Identify the model, filter arrangement and manufacturer’s care procedure. User-removable parts and cleaner products vary between appliances. Confirm dishes have been removed and the machine is available for the agreed process. An online generic cleaning recipe should not replace the selected product’s restrictions, particularly for seals, baskets and hidden components.
Keep the scope accessible
List interior surfaces, door edges, permitted filter or basket work and any approved cleaning cycle. Pump disassembly, electrical work, hose removal and drain repairs remain separate. Unknown chemical residues should be disclosed rather than mixed with another product. If water is standing unexpectedly or the appliance has a fault code, seek the appropriate appliance advice before routine cleaning proceeds.
Record what the visit establishes
Reconcile accessible components and review ordinary residue at the agreed stopping point. If a permitted cycle is included, allow for its actual duration and identify who completes the handoff. Cleaning does not certify dish sanitisation or resolve a drainage fault. Keep persistent odour, leaks and damaged seals as service findings rather than promising that a cleaning product will fix them.
