Identify removable components
Record window type, screens and track sections included. Fixed, retractable and user-removable screens can have different instructions. Pella notes product-specific screen care; apparent removability should not be treated as permission to dismantle a frame. Review brittle mesh, broken corners and difficult opening mechanisms before handling is agreed.
Clean the accessible assembly
Choose suitable tools and moisture levels for mesh, frame coatings, sills and track material. Ordinary dry debris is different from blocked drainage, seal failure or pest contamination. Keep drainage paths and hardware within the manufacturer’s care guidance. Lubrication, adjustment and repair need separate suitable scopes instead of being improvised during cleaning.
Reconcile the parts
Check the agreed screens and tracks, document damaged mesh or inaccessible sections and return permitted removable pieces through the product instructions. A cleaned track does not certify that the window drains or seals correctly. Keep screen cleaning distinct from both glass sides so the household can compare a complete package with component-only work.

A few helpful answers.
Will cleaning repair a sticking window?
No. Operation and hardware concerns need an appropriate window provider.
Can screens be soaked without checking the product?
No. The actual screen system and material guidance should determine the method.
