Define the furnished inventory
Record sleeping, bathroom and kitchen areas, retained supplies and the furnishings that stay. Agree who checks for forgotten possessions and who can authorise disposal. Keys, access codes and private guest information should use appropriate direct arrangements rather than a public enquiry form. Cleaning does not establish permission to operate a rental.
Coordinate linens and consumables
Separate bed stripping, laundering and re-making with clean sets. Identify owner-supplied products and replenishment quantities rather than assuming purchasing is included. Upholstery, rugs and mattress interiors need their own material-specific scope; ordinary surface care is not pest treatment or a guarantee against allergens.
Review readiness for the next use
Use the agreed checklist to confirm accessible surfaces, floors and linen placement. Record damage, missing items and unusual contamination for the responsible owner before another occupant arrives. Appliance faults, drains and safety equipment need suitable providers. A turnover record describes the clean and exceptions without claiming to inspect or certify the entire suite.
