Set the handover standard
Use the tenancy or sale requirements supplied by the responsible household party to define the clean. Confirm when possessions and rubbish will be removed and which furniture remains. Empty cabinets, appliances and cupboards are not automatically included; list them. A cleaner should not promise return of a deposit or approval by a landlord or buyer.
Check readiness and access
Arrange working utilities, safe access and building permissions directly. Record floor types, appliance models and existing damage before work. A vacant room may expose adhesive, stains or moisture that routine cleaning cannot resolve. Hazardous residues, abandoned-property decisions and repair belong to their appropriate separate owners.
Document the completed scope
Walk the agreed room list or request a concise photo record without exposing private documents. Confirm which interiors were cleaned and identify remaining permanent marks or unfinished repairs. If another trade visits afterwards, further cleaning may be needed. The completion note should describe what was done at that time rather than guarantee the property’s condition indefinitely.

A few helpful answers.
Does move-out cleaning guarantee my deposit?
No. The tenancy, property condition and decision maker determine that; cleaning should be assessed against the agreed deliverables.
Can removal of unwanted possessions be included?
Only as a separately defined authorised removal scope with suitable material destinations.
